    Seeking a technical, detail-oriented engineering manager to join our dynamic and growing Advanced Vision Team. In this role, you will oversee the development of various, technically challenging, image processing applications. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders within the company to ensure the delivery of projects in an efficient, timely manner.  The creative solutions the team implements will be pushed out to factories around the world and directly impact the next generation of consumer electronics.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Check and confirm the accuracy of the work performed and the methods used by engineering staff
    • Communicate and collaborate with team members, other managers, and directors
    • Contribute to project design and establishment of requirements
    • Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor progress of projects
    • Be an active, self-motivated, and collaborative team member and team leader
    • Work closely with project manager during all phases of development lifecycle
    • Review all work produced by development team
    • Conduct regular status meetings with all necessary stakeholders
    • Raise the entire company’s game to provide the most advanced automated vision inspection systems in the world

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or Vision Sciences; MBA desired
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in management
    • Experience in machine vision system components and systems is highly desired
    • Ability to work in high-pressure, deadline driven environment
    • Organizational competencies and project management skills to keep projects, processes, and the team on track
    • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
    • Understanding of image science & CCD based imaging systems
    • Solid working knowledge of .NET framework, C/C++, C# or equivalent programming languages
    • Color science experience is a plus
    • Experience with scientific measurement instrumentation is a plus
    • Strong mathematical skills
    • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and organizational skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to interface equally well with customers, sales staff, product development engineers, as well as production managers in a team-oriented environment
    • Ability to travel both nationally and internationally as needed
