DESCRIPTION

This Imaging Field Service Engineer (MV Medical X-Ray Equipment) will be servicing customers by performing repairs, planned preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calibrations, and electrical safety inspections in compliance with established standards on x-ray equipment which includes c-arms, portables, rad, fluoro and other general x-ray equipment mostly in New York City and some in New Jersey.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates should hold an AAS or better degree in an Electrical and/or Imaging Technology discipline; or have military education/training/experience on imaging equipment. Need at least 4 to 7 years experience with various imaging equipment manufacturers or other appropriate related experience is required. Prefer certification (CRES). Must have  good communication skills, verbal and written, plus over-the-top" strong customer service skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

FSE will perform major repairs by replacing defective components, readjust components to manufacturer’s specifications using appropriate tools and measuring instruments; confer with manufacturer’s representatives and equipment operators to resolve equipment related problems; provide emergency on-call responsibilities; conduct and compiles Quality Assurance records and reports necessary for compliance with specifications and policies; and document all significant asset related actions in compliance with department practices.
