MTMI Global Offers Pathways to Leadership

Medical Technology Management Institute (MTMI Global) President Ernesto A. Cerdena, PhD, MSRT (R)(CT)(CV), CRA, FAHRA, FACHE, is excited about the organization’s new Pathways to Leadership program.

“We are launching our Pathways to Leadership programs to address the gap in radiology leadership training,” Cerdena said.

The first program is a free webinar scheduled for July 13 at 4:30-5:30 p.m. Central Time. It is being presented by key industry leaders Chris Tomlinson and David Fox. This webinar quickly attracted 130 registrants from all over the world in less than a week. Registration is still open.

“The second offering is the Pathways to Leadership certificate program, comprising of eight sessions (can be taken as single or complete). This is the foundational leadership training to help technologists who are aspiring to be in the management role. The first session is scheduled for July 16 to November 7. Each session is 3 hours and students need to complete 24 hours to receive a micro-certificate,” Cerdena said. “We are looking for vendors who are interested in providing scholarship funds to the aspiring students. Currently, we have Nautilus Medical sponsoring 3 students to the program. The cost of the entire program is $499.”

“For the free webinar, this will be a rare event with Chris Tomlinson and David Fox in tandem talking about leadership under the new normal,” Cerdena added.

He said MTMI is excited to have “high caliber speakers who are willing to share their personal journey and hands-on experience.”

The course program was also designed to meet the needs of the students relevant to course work selections, flexibility (one course at a time or full course) and convenience.
