Larry Goodman, CEO of the Chicago, Illinois-based Rush University System for Health (RUSH) will retire this year. Rush Medical College dean and medical center SVP Ranga Krishnan will assume his role as RUSH CEO; Krishnan will in turn be replaced by Omar Lateef, the current RUSH Chief Medical Officer and SVP of medical affairs for the medical center. Goodman has been CEO of the Medical Center since February 2002, and also served as president of Rush University until February 2019. Goodman is also an academic professor of internal medicine and the James A. Campbell Distinguished Service Professor of Rush University.
The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force of Manhasset, New York has named Karina Davidson as its vice-chair. Davidson is SVP of research at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research. A prior member of the task force from 2014 to 2018, she also teaches behavioral medicine at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and a licensed clinical psychologist.
Diplomat Pharmacy, Inc. of Flint, Michigan named Dan Davison as its CFO and treasurer, effective April 8, succeeding Atul Kavthekar. Davison was most recently SVP of PBM Finance at CVS Health; he was also formerly SVP of financial and strategic planning and CFO of the health plan division at Medco Health Solutions.
Davison has an MBA in finance from New York University.
Ardelyx, Inc. of Fremont, California named Geoffrey A. Block to its board of directors. Block is VP of Nephrology at Reata and the former Director of Clinical Research in the Denver Nephrology Research Division at Colorado Kidney Care/Denver Nephrologists. He also previously served as associate clinical professor in medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, as an attending physician at St. Joseph’s Hospital, and as the medical director of the DaVita-Lowry Hemodialysis Unit. Block holds a medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his fellowship in nephrology at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
PatientPoint of Cincinnati, Ohio named Wes Staggs EVP of customer success. Staggs was most recently Chief Customer Officer at Blue Ridge, and COO and Chief Revenue Officer at Revegy. Staggs has also worked in sales and business development leadership roles at RVH Analytics, OneHealth Solutions, Concerro, Inc. and WebMD.
21st Century Oncology (21CO) of Fort Myers, Florida added Drs. Mohammad Jahanzeb, Raja Mudad, Edgardo S. Santos, Neil Nagovski, and Simon Abi Aad.
Jahanzeb, a professor of clinical medicine at the University of Miami and medical director of its Sylvester Deerfield campus, will lead the 21CO Florida Precision Oncology practice. Mudad is an assistant professor of clinical medicine at the University of Miami and medical director of the chemotherapy treatment units at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he also serves as co-Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) and associate director of the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program. Santos is medical director of cancer research at the Lynn Cancer Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, a clinical affiliate associate professor at Florida Atlantic University, a board member at the Florida American Society of Clinical Oncology (FLASCO), and chair of the publication committee of the International Association of the Study of Lung Cancer (IASCL). Nagovski is board-certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine, and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Aad is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology/hematology.
The Oakland, California-based Kaiser Permanente named Tami Lamp SVP and chief human resources officer for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc. and Hospitals, known as Kaiser Permanente. Lamp was most recently chief people officer for Icertis, has been EVP of human resources for Group Health Cooperative, SVP and chief people officer at Caradigm, and senior human resources director at Microsoft. Lamp has a master’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University and a master’s degree in aeronautical sciences and business administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

LogixHealth of Bedford, Massachusetts named Jim Blakeman its EVP. Blakeman is a member of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine Practice Management Committee and a founding member of the Emergency Department Practice Management Association. He is also a founding member of the Board of Medical Specialty Coders and has been ACS-ED certified.
The Laurel, Maryland-based Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) named Marc Levin as its president and CEO. Levin has been serving in both roles on an interim basis since February 1, while also maintaining his CFO and COO roles.
Levin joined MUIH in March 2008, and sits on the board of trustees of the Community Foundation of Howard County.
ConsumerMedical of Pembroke, Massachusetts named Michael Ciano its Chief Technology Officer. Ciano joins the company from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts; he was also previously the Chief Information Officer for Seniorlink, Inc.
Kumanu of Ann Arbor, Michigan named Eric Zimmerman its Chief Innovation Officer and Chief Commercialization Officer.
The Tampa, Florida-based Women’s Care Florida promoted Justin Wagoner to medical director of its pathology lab. Wagoner previously served as director of clinical pathology at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is board-certified in anatomic pathology and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology.
Gestalt Diagnostics of Spokane, Washington has established an advisory board of pathologists that include Bruce Beckwith, Chairman of Pathology at North Shore Medical Center in Salem, Massachusetts; Eric Glassy, director of pathology at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center, San Pedro; and John Spinosa, chief medical officer of the San Diego Blood Bank.
Women’s Care Florida of Tampa, Florida added Bethany Kieley as its COO. Kieley joins the company from ProHealth Physicians of Farmington, Connecticut. Kieley has a master’s degree in business administration from Plymouth State University.
Cardinal Analytx Solutions of Palo Alto, California named Chris DeRienzo its chief medical officer and Niall O’Cathasaigh its CFO. DeRienzo previously was chief quality officer for Mission Health, and has a masters degree in public policy and post-graduate medical training from Duke University. O’Cathasaigh most recently spent 18 months as the consulting CFO for Cardinal Analtyx; he was previously with Countsy, is a founder and partner of ManoCap, and formerly worked at Apple’s European divisions in Ireland and France.
CarePredict of Fort Lauderdale, Florida added Sanjay Khosla to its board of directors. Khosla also is on the board of Zoetis Inc. (formerly Pfizer Animal Health), is as a senior advisor for Tata Capital Ltd., and previously served on the boards of NIIT Ltd., Best Buy Inc., Iconix Brand Group, Big Heart Pet Brands (formerly Del Monte) and Hindustan Unilever. Khosla is a Senior Fellow at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, and a Senior Advisor at Boston Consulting Group.
Community Healthcare Trust Incorporated of Franklin, Tennessee named David H. Dupuy EVP and CFO, effective May 1, 2019. Current CFO W. Page Barnes will remain with the company as its newly created COO. Dupuy was previously managing director of the healthcare investment banking group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, has been SVP of the healthcare group at Bank of America, and VP and regional director for KDA Holdings. Dupuy also was CFO and a founding partner of LIFESIGNS Holdings, Inc.
Novant Health of Charlotte, North Carolina named Ann Caulkins SVP of Novant Health and president of the Novant Health Foundation. Caulkins was most recently president and publisher of The Charlotte Observer, had been president and publisher of The State newspaper in Columbia, South Carolina, and advertising director and SVP of sales and marketing at The Herald-Leader in Lexington, Kentucky. Caulkins serves on the boards of CrossRoads Charlotte, The Fletcher School, and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Foundation. She is a member of the Women’s Impact Fund, International Women’s Forum, Women Executives and the National Association of Corporate Directors.
JAG-ONE Physical Therapy of Woodbridge, New Jersey named Ronald J. Del Mauro, former president and CEO of Barnabas Health, to its board of managers.
Kewaunee Scientific Corporation of Statesville, North Carolina has accepted the resignation of president-CEO and director David M. Rausch, who held those roles since 2013. CFO Thomas D. Hull III will replace Rausch as president, CEO, and a member of its board of directors. Rausch first joined Kewaunee in 1994 as a manager.
rMark Bio of Chicago, Illinois named Annette Thurston its VP of product. Previously, Thurston led consumer products at Arity, a subsidiary of Allstate.
DRS Imaging Services of Springfield, New Jersey added Jeff Russo as EVP of sales and marketing. Russo joins the company from DocuWare, where he was East Coast Senior Sales Director.

InkSpace Imaging of Berkeley, California named Peter Fischer its CEO. Fischer has a PhD in semiconductor physics and serves on the board of OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association). He has been COO of Thinfilm Electronics, CTO at Plastic Logic, director of backend products at Qimonda, and senior manager of frontend process integration at Infineon Technologies.
