The Malvern, Pennsylvania-based LifeScan named Alisandra Rizzolo its head of transformation. Rizzolo most recently was VP and GM of customer experience for Stryker; previous to that, she’s worked at Xerox and Pitney Bowes.
Aperture of Louisville, Kentucky named Kymberly Eide its president. Eide previously spent 11 years at Optum in product strategy and growth for provider data management.
Attain of McLean, Virginia named Cindy D’Annunzio its managing director. A former division director for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), D’Annunzio led federal health business development and delivery teams for General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), Turning Point Global Solutions, and Companion Data Services, a subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina.
Tivic Health Systems of San Francisco, California named Subinoy Das its Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Michael Nketiah its VP of quality and regulatory affairs. Das is CEO and medical director at the U.S. Institute for Advanced Sinus Care and Research in Ohio, the former director of the Ohio State University Sinus and Allergy Center, and assistant professor at Ohio State University. Prior to joining Tivic Health, Nketiah was VP of quality and regulatory for SIRIS Medical, ClearPath Surgical Inc., Previvo Genetics, and was senior director of quality and regulatory Affairs at PROCEPT BioRobotics.
The Virginia Beach, Virginia-based Divurgent added Bill Bottomley as VP of payer solutions overseeing east coast client services, and Mary Beth Seaman as VP of client services. Bottomley has 26 years of technology sales leadership experience, 17 of which were focused in the healthcare industry. Seaman, who has 20 years of sales experience, 18 of which in the healthcare industry, will be VP of client services.
The Boston, Massachusetts-based Caresyntax Corp. named Timothy Lantz as president. Lantz most recently spent 15 years as SVP and GM at Sentry Data Systems.
RNnetwork of Salt Lake City, Utah named Lynne Gross its new president. Gross joined the company in 2011, and has held a variety of leadership positions there, including director and VP.
Intervention Insights of Boston, Massachusetts named Lee Newcomer, a former UnitedHealthcare executive and medical director for Cigna Healthcare, to its board of directors. Newcomer recently retired from UnitedHealth Group, where he spent a decade as its Chief Medical Officer; he also had been medical director for Cigna Healthcare in Kansas City, and was a founding executive of Vivius.
Encompass Health of Birmingham, Alabama named Kim Sullivan its chief human resources officer, effective June 10. Since 2017, Sullivan has been VP and chief people officer for Kaiser Permanente in Seattle. She has held senior management positions with The University of Texas System, Walgreens, and Marathon Petroleum. Sullivan holds a master’s degree in human resources development from the University of Houston.
The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based Lannett Company will lose CFO Martin Galvan to retirement August 30, 2019; thereafter, he will consult for the company as necessary. Lannett is conducting a search for its next CFO.
The San Francisco-based Nurx added Kim Boyd as its medical director. A Stanford-trained physician, she was most recently the medical director at Galileo, and has been a senior clinical leader and medical director at One Medical.
Emerus Holdings of Houston, Texas named Vic Schmerbeck its president, effective May 27. Schmerbeck has been with the company for six years as a consultant and then as chief development and strategy officer.
Kansas Health Science Center (KHSC) of Wichita, Kansas named Vadim Levitin chairman of its board of trustees, Tiffany Masson its president, and Robert Hasty its founding dean and chief academic officer. Masson is was dean of both the Chicago and online campuses at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Hasty was the founding dean of the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine, and has been associate dean of Campbell University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine.
The New York, New York-based Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) named Andrew D. Pearle chief of its sports medicine institute, succeeding Bryan T. Kelly, who was recently named HSS surgeon-in-chief and medical director of HSS. Both physicians assume their new roles July 1.
The Atlanta, Georgia-based BioIQ has named Andrew Reeves its COO. Reeves previously spent 12 years at Cigna in roles including RVP of national accounts and chief distribution officer of corporate sales effectiveness. He also served as COO and market lead for Cigna HealthSpring in Georgia and the Carolinas.
Evolution Research Group of New Providence, New Jersey named Davide Molho its president and CEO. Molho succeeds company cofounder Lori Thievon Wright, who will transition to board chair. Molho has spent 25 years in pharmaceutical services, most recently as president and COO of Charles River Laboratories.
The Doctors Company of Napa, California named Daniel Kent Cassavar to its Board of Governors. Cassavar most recently was president and chief medical officer of ProMedica Physicians, has been an interventional cardiologist at Northwest Ohio Cardiology Consultants, and was a founding member of Cardiocare Consultants. Cassavar is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology, and a member of the American Medical Association, the Toledo and Michigan chapters of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the Society of Vascular Medicine.
The Baltimore, Maryland-based Canton & Company added Dennis Tkach as its Chief Consulting and Research Officer. Previously, Tkach led the Accountable Health Communities model at Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation, led Market Insights and Strategy for Medecision, Health Informatics for Vizient, and held a series of scientific research roles for the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Sg2, and the University of Chicago.
Revel of Minneapolis, Minnesota named Kevin Barrett to its board of directors. Barrett is the former CEO of Altegra Health, has been a senior strategy advisor to Neil de Crescenzo of Change Healthcare, and was president and CEO of Altegra Health. Barrett holds an MBA from Harvard and is currently vice-chairman of the board of trustees for the nonprofit Family Promise.
Glooko of Mountain View, California named Mark Clements its Chief Medical Officer. Clements has served on the Glooko medical advisory board since it was formed in 2015. He will also continue his current roles as associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, and director of Pediatric Endocrine/Diabetes Clinical Research and Medical Director for the Pediatric Clinical Research Unit at Children’s Mercy Kansas City.
LifeScan of Malvern, Pennsylvania named Ty Lee its head of marketing. Most recently, Lee was global VP of customer development at Johnson & Johnson Vision, Surgical Vision, Inc. and Vision Care, Inc. Previously, he was VP of the Americas at Johnson & Johnson Diabetes Care, from which LifeScan was spun off in October 2018.
Pack Health of Birmingham, Alabama named Kelly Brassil its director of medical affairs. Kelly joins Pack Health from The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she was director of nursing research and innovation.
The Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Children’s Minnesota extended the contract of president and CEO Marc Gorelick through 2024. Gorelick joined Children’s in March 2017 as president and COO, and had previously been EVP and and COO of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. His prior experience includes faculty positions at Medical College of Wisconsin and University of Pennsylvania, and clinical and leadership roles at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, AI DuPont Hospital for Children, and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
