Block Imaging recently announced plans today to launch a mobile imaging business on June 1, 2023. The newly formed Cube Mobile Imaging will focus solely on meeting the growing demand of U.S. health care providers for interim medical imaging scanning capabilities.
Cube Mobile Imaging will continue to provide health care providers with the same turnkey, state-of-the-art equipment and comfortable patient scanning environments that they’ve experienced with Block Mobile Imaging.
Zack Mitchell, vice president of Cube Mobile Imaging, said, “Over the last five years, Block Imaging has expanded our mobile fleet to serve the health care community’s need for mobile solutions. The creation of Cube Mobile Imaging will allow our team to exclusively focus on developing innovative and life-saving alternatives for health care providers at times and in places when only mobile can.”
Health care providers renting mobile imaging systems can expect the latest MRI and CT technology available. Cube’s MRI fleet includes Siemens Espree, Aera, and Viato, which is scheduled to be deployed in late 2023 as well as GE HD Series systems. Cube’s CT fleet consists of Siemens Perspective, GE VCT, and Optima 660 Series systems.
“Through our mission, People Matter, Block Imaging has always prioritized the needs of health care providers and the patients they serve when making strategic decisions,” said Josh Block, president of Block Imaging.
“I’m confident that today’s announcement will allow both the Block Imaging and Cube Mobile Imaging teams to focus on anticipating and meeting the needs of health care providers today and into the future.” he continued.
