Philips’ Radiography 7300 C, a ceiling-mounted digital radiography solution, addresses fast throughput and diagnostic confidence to address challenges. Its AI-enabled Smart Collimation Thorax (SCT) algorithm adjusts detector height and proposes collimation for each chest-upright patient based on data from a 3D Camera. Smart Collimation Thorax reduces exam time by up to 35 seconds, resulting in up to 20 minutes of daily time savings for the medical team. To further reduce costs, Philips is backing this system with a 20-year expected service life (15 years of full support, 5 years of limited support), which helps avoid unnecessary additional investment in X-ray equipment and room construction.
