Joann Miriam Paul recently started a new position as a research and development technician at Siemens Healthineers.
“Looking forward to join the incredible team of researchers to contribute to the development of novel tests and further improvements to the IMMULITE systems,” she wrote on LinekdIn.
Six months ago, she shared on LinkedIn that she has officially graduated with an MSc in biomedical sciences with professional experience (haematology and blood transfusion).
“This master’s journey at Coventry University has been eye-opening, giving me valuable insight into the realities of medical research while allowing me to grow professionally,” she wrote on LinkedIn. “I’m immensely grateful to my internship supervisors (Inderpreet Kaur and Magdalena Karlikowska) at Cytecom for the opportunity to work in R&D and for fostering an environment where I could take ownership of my own project. Your encouragement and guidance have helped shape me into a better scientist. I would also like to thank my thesis advisor Neil Young for his support during my research into the effects of LILRB1 activation on TNIP1 expression in monocytes and cytotoxic T-cells – an experience that deepened my interest in immunotherapy and translational research.”
“I’m incredibly thankful to everyone who supported me along the way and excited to contribute to impactful work in research and healthcare innovation. I currently hold a graduate visa in the UK and am looking to join an impactful laboratory team,” she added.
