Select Medical Holdings Corporation of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania named Marilyn TavennerĀ to its board of directors. TavennerĀ has nearly 20 years of experience in health care. She was the president and CEO of America’s Health Insurance Plans, administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) under President Barack Obama, and Secretary of Health and Human Resources for the Commonwealth ofĀ Virginia. Tavenner was also a senior executive of the Hospital Corporation of America, Chippenham Medical Center and Johnston-Willis Hospital.
The Manassas, Virginina-based Notal VisionĀ will see CEO Quinton Oswald retire at the end of 2018, to be replaced by the companyās current chief medical officer and vice president of medical affairs, Susan Orr, OD. Oswald will continue to serve on the companyās board of directors.Ā Grace Chang, a board-certified ophthalmologist and practicing vitreoretinal surgeon, will assume the CMO role.

GlobalMed of Washington, D.C. has added Dean L. Smith as its chief medical information officer (CMIO) and senior vice president of government relations. Smith, a licensed, board-certified physician, spent the past 18 years with the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Medical Services. Previous to that, he worked in ambulatory, acute and intensive, emergency medicine, and was a Lt. Commander in the U.S. Public Health Service.
Rockwell Medical Inc. of Wixom, Massachusetts has appointed Angus SmithĀ as its CFO. Smith joins the company from Pernix Therapeutics.

The Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics & Health Care Compliance Association (SCCE & HCCA) of Minneapolis, Minnesota has named Gerry ZackĀ its CEO. Founder and outgoingĀ CEO Roy Snell will transition to special projects.
United Therapeutics Corporation of Silver Spring, Maryland has added Nilda MesaĀ to its board of directors. Mesa is the former director of theĀ New York CityĀ Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, was an adjunct professor at Columbia University, where she directed the urban sustainability and equity planning program at the universityās center for sustainable urban development at the Earth Institute.
Catalia Health of San Francisco, California has added Pat Basu to its board of directors. Basu is a partner at Chicago Pacific Founders, a former White House advisor under the Obama administration, and went on to co-found the Doctor on Demand telehealth service.
City Line Behavioral Healthcare of Boca Raton, Florida has named Andrew Rothermel its president and CEO as well as that of Life of Purpose-Florida, with Kerry Coyle as the executive director of the latter organization. Coyle has spent 15 years in behavioral health care.
Vascular Insights of Quincy, MassachusettsĀ has named James āChipā DraperĀ its president and CEO.Ā Outgoing CEOĀ James P. Ott has been named executive chairman of the board of directors.

The Washington, D.C.-based Catholic Health Association ofĀ the United StatesĀ (CHA) will search for a new president-CEO, as Sister Carol Keehan announced her pending retirement at the end of June 2019.
Lark Health of Mountain View, California has namedĀ Sharon RapoportĀ its vice president of data science. Rapoport joins Lark from TripAdvisor; previously, she was the first data scientist at Plaid.

Sentry Data Systems, Inc. of Deerfield Beach, Florida has named Ron LinaresĀ its CFO. Linares has been CFO for several companies, including OmniComm Systems Inc.
Cricket Health of San Francisco, California has added former Fresenius Medical Care executiveĀ Robert SepuchaĀ as chief administrative officer; former longtime digital health engineering leaderĀ Sam Mankiewicz as chief technology officer; and clinical expert and veteran Sound Physicians executiveĀ Dianna Budgeon as head of clinical operations.

The Virginia Beach-based Urology ofĀ VirginiaĀ named Christopher S. EnnisĀ as its CEO. Previously, Ennis has been senior administrator at the University Of Maryland Medical Center inĀ Baltimore.
University Hospitals of Cleveland, Ohio has named Peter J. Pronovost as its chief clinical transformation officer. Pronovost was senior vice president for clinical strategy and the chief medical officer for UnitedHealthcare, and has worked at Johns Hopkins Medicine for 20 years.
International Medical Group of Indianapolis, Indiana has named Glenn MaykishĀ as global head of products and strategy. Maykish was previously the chief commercial officer for AXA AssistanceĀ USA.
McKesson Corporation of San Francisco, California has promoted president and COO Brian Tyler to CEO, succeeding retiring chairman and CEO John H. Hammergren. Tyler will also remain as president. Lead independent director Edward Mueller succeeds Hammergren as an independent chairman of the Board. All changes are effective April 1, 2019.
