Banner Imaging, a wholly owned subsidiary of Banner Health, is made up of four outpatient imaging centers in Northern Colorado. The organization began with 23 ambulatory imaging centers in Arizona. Banner Imaging will focus on providing an exemplary customer experience.

The four sites in northern Colorado are now:

• Banner Imaging Greeley
(formerly Summit View Medical Commons)
2001 70th Ave., Suite 102
Greeley, CO 80634

• Banner Imaging Greeley Breast Center
(formerly North Colorado Medical Center Breast Center)
2001 70th Ave., Suite 102
Greeley, CO 80634

• Banner Imaging McKee Breast Center
(formerly McKee Breast Center)
2000 N. Boise Ave.
Loveland, CO 80538

• Banner Imaging Skyline
(formerly Skyline Imaging-Skyline MRI)
2555 E. 13th St., Suite 100
Loveland, CO 80537

Nearly 50 employees already working for Banner Health at the four sites will transition to become Banner Imaging employees under this new agreement. Banner Imaging is contracted with Radiology Imaging Associates (RIA) to offer professional reading services.

“We plan to offer seamless medical imaging care through this agreement and make health care easier for our consumers,’’ said Wendy Sparks, acting chief executive officer for Banner Health’s Northern Colorado division.

Banner Imaging centers offer a complete range of advanced imaging services, including CT scans, MRIs and mammograms. The facilities offer digital-imaging technology, highly trained subspecialized radiologists and a patient-centered environment.

“We are fortunate to partner with exceptional radiologists who have been providing patient-centered care in Colorado for more than 50 years,” said Jason Theadore, Banner Imaging’s chief executive officer.

Patricia Downey, RIA’s chief executive office, also commented on the partnership. She said, “RIA looks forward to continuing to expand our partnership with Banner Health through our new partnership with Banner Imaging. For many patients, radiology is often one of the first stops in the care process. We are pleased to have had the opportunity to work with the Banner Imaging team to streamline the workflow between the imaging centers and the radiologists, to ensure an extraordinary customer experience for both patients and referring physicians.”

“Our physicians are committed to improving lives. It’s our mission, and we believe in it,” said Woodie Hopper, MD, president of RIA. “We also believe in the Banner Health vision of better access to quality care for the communities of Northern Colorado. Our group is uniquely qualified to partner with Banner Imaging, as we are comprised of over 100 subspecialized, board-certified radiologists who strive to exceed service and clinical quality expectations every day.”
