The group Humans for Healthcare recently posted a YouTube video praising the FTC’s rule to eliminate non-compete clauses.
The YouTube video description states, “The FTC non-compete ruling yesterday changes everything for medical equipment service technicians and the hospitals and imaging centers they serve. Instead of the companies charging $1,000 per hour (on average) to hospitals and imaging centers while paying their employees (technicians $50/hr), technicians can charge work directly for $400/hr and take home $300/hr. Think Uber riders and drivers.”
