Lisa Kilgore recently shared on LinkedIn that she is “joining an amazing team at Indiana University Health as Director of Information Services, Medical Device Integration.”
“This is the kind of role I’ve spent my entire career preparing for,” she writes. “IU Health is Indiana’s largest health system, and one of the most ambitious capital projects in the country underway with their new flagship hospital opening in 2027. The scale, the mission, and the complexity of what they are building is exactly where this work matters most.”
“Medical device integration isn’t a background function. When it’s done well, clinicians have accurate, real-time data at the bedside. When it’s not, the gaps show up in workarounds, documentation failures and patient safety risk,” she adds. “Getting the connected medical device environment right – the infrastructure, the clinical alignment, the governance, the life cycle planning – directly affects the quality of care delivered in those rooms.”
“That is what drives me, and I’m grateful to be stepping into a team an organization that takes that work seriously,” she writes. “To my network, thank you for the support, the referrals, the conversations, and the kind words over the years. The fractional and consulting work gave me the opportunity to see this problem across multiple health systems and sharpen my thinking in ways I couldn’t have anticipated. I’m bringing all of that into this next chapter.”
