MXR Imaging Announces Continued Availability of Equipment Service Support Engineers

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – March 17, 2020 – MXR Imaging, Inc. (formerly Merry X-Ray Corporation) announced that it will maintain Equipment Service Engineering coverage of healthcare facilities throughout the US.

In a statement this afternoon, MXR Imaging, Inc. announced that it will continue to provide Equipment Service Engineering coverage to the healthcare community with its Equipment Service Support team of over 300 engineers.

“As we continue to adapt to these unprecedented times, we at MXR are dedicated to the continued support of our customers, GPO partners, the GPO members, and the healthcare community as a whole; we remain available to provide Equipment Service Support during this critical time,” said Shelby Lemler, Executive Vice President of Operations – MXR.

MXR stated it is committed to adhering to the COVID-19 policies and procedures of individual facilities. All MXR team members follow best practices, which include but are not limited to, frequent washing of hands and equipment repair tools, social distancing, and staying home if they are not feeling well. Warehouses and distribution centers are staffed to ensure that all the equipment, supplies, parts and sales (CT, MRI, US, & XR), and pharmaceuticals orders are being fulfilled.

Lemler stated, “We have experienced a sharp rise in the number of requests for portable x-ray system proposals and sales, and have met the demand. We believe this is potentially related to healthcare practice changes due to COVID-19. We are prepared and committed to the continued support of our customer’s equipment and service needs.”
