AIS has announced the addition of Chris Sheets and Andrew Long to the AIS team. Both joined AIS earlier this year as nuclear medicine field service engineers and “are already making valuable contributions to our growing service organization,” according to CEO Grant Norris.
Chris Sheets joins AIS as a senior field service engineer, bringing extensive experience in nuclear medicine. He previously worked as an in-house equipment service engineer with Absolute Imaging Solutions in Stokesdale, North Carolina, where he supported nuclear medicine systems for more than six years. He also spent time with Carestream as a field service engineer supporting portable X-ray systems. Based in Wilmington, North Carolina, he strengthens AIS’s Southeast coverage and adds depth and expertise to its nuclear medicine service team.
Andrew Long joins AIS as a field service engineer based at its Wichita, Kansas headquarters, supporting nuclear medicine equipment across the AIS service footprint. He brings a strong technical background from his six years in the U.S. Army working with IT and electrical systems, followed by experience with Xerox supporting complex, networked systems in healthcare environments. Since joining AIS, he has been actively engaged in hands-on and system-specific training as he continues to build his nuclear medicine skill set.
“Adding experienced engineers while continuing to develop new technical talent is a key part of how AIS supports our customers and plans for long-term growth. Chris and Andrew enhance our nuclear medicine capabilities today and help position AIS to continue delivering reliable, high-quality service in 2026 and beyond,” according to a news release.
“We’re excited to have both Chris and Andrew on the AIS team and look forward to the impact they will continue to make for our customers and partners,” Norris said.
