Nuvolo Names Veeva Systems Executive Dan Goldsmith to Board of Directors

Nuvolo has announced the appointment of life sciences industry veteran Dan Goldsmith to its board of directors, effectively immediately.

Goldsmith brings deep expertise in the life sciences and software fields, holding a variety of executive leadership and strategy roles throughout his 20-plus year career, according to a news release.

He currently serves as executive vice president of global accounts at Veeva Systems, a cloud solutions company for the global life sciences industry. During his tenure at Veeva, Goldsmith has played an integral role in scaling the company’s portfolio to evolve from cloud upstart to established solutions provider. In addition, he has helped life sciences organizations apply the agility of the cloud to transform their operations and generate more powerful data analytics. Prior to Veeva, Goldsmith worked at IBM, PwC and Accenture as a management consultant and advisor to major pharmaceutical companies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Rochester.

The appointment comes on the heels of Nuvolo’s continued growth in the life sciences market and adoption of its clinical EAM platform that is transforming the way companies manage healthcare technology in the cloud.
