Carestream Health has named David C. Westgate its new president, CEO, and chairman of the board of directors, replacing outgoing CEO Kevin Hobert. Westgate was most recently CEO of Jason Industries Inc.; Hobert will assist with the transition.

 

Tina Freese Decker

Spectrum Health promoted Tina Freese Decker to president and CEO. Freese Decker serves on the boards of directors of the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids, Fifth Third Bank Western Michigan, Michigan Health and Hospital Association, Michigan State University and Spectrum Health Alliance, and The Economic Club of Grand Rapids. She was formerly the Michigan and NW Ohio Regent for the American College of Healthcare Executives. Outgoing Spectrum Health President and CEO Richard C. Breon will retire by the end of August 2018 after an 18-year career with the company.

 

Clinical Innovations of Salt Lake City, Utah has added Richard Ji as vice president of operations. Ji was most recently vice president of catheter solutions for Becton Dickinson.

 

The US Oncology Network added Marcus Neubauer as its CMO; network president Michael Seiden will continue to lead the network as its president. Neubauer has been a practicing medical oncologist for 20 years, most recently in the network’s Kansas City practice. He has been its vice president and medical director for payer, clinical services, and value-based care.

 

Amy E. Beiter

The Kirkland, Washington-based EvergreenHealth named Amy E. Beiter its CEO, replacing the retiring Bob Malte. Beiter is a senior physician executive with 25 years of experience, and most recently served as president and CEO for Carondelet St. Mary’s Hospital in Tucson, Arizona, where she has also been CMO and medical director for utilization management. Beiter earned a bachelor’s of science and medical degree at Purdue University holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts.

 

Invacare Corporation of Elyria, Ohio named Diana S. Ferguson, CFO for Cleveland Avenue LLC and principal of Scarlett Investments, to its board of directors.

 

Joe Harpaz

Modernizing Medicine Inc. of Boca Raton, Florida has named Joe Harpaz its president and COO. Harpaz joins the company from Thomson Reuters, where he was managing director of the corporate segment for the tax and accounting business.

 

Pneuma Respiratory Inc. of Boone, North Carolina named Brian Thomas as a project manager and Kade McNaughton as its controller. Thomas has held senior science and technology positions with Stryker Corporation and Zimmer Biomet, and holds a doctorate in inorganic chemistry from Clemson University and an MBA from Indiana University. McNaughton has 20 years of financial experience as a consultant as well as in corporate roles with Arthur Andersen and Lowe’s.

 

Anil Singhal

The Denver, Colorado-based Surefire Medical Inc. added Anil Singhal to its board of directors; Singhal is chief scientific officer for OncoResponse, and executive in residence for Canaan Partners. He previously held academic appointments at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and University of Washington. Singhal holds a doctorate from Rutgers University and an executive master’s degree in business development from the University of Washington.

 

The Shelton, Connecticut-based NanoViricides Inc. has named Irach Taraporewala as its CEO. Taraporewala was previously CEO and president of Ohr Pharmaceutical.

 

Kim Braxl Cole

Broward Health has named Kim Braxl Cole CFO of Broward Health North. Cole was most recently controller of Delray Medical Center, has been vice president and controller at CareGuide in Coral Springs, and was also manager of financial services at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale.

 

Accuray Incorporated of Sunnyvale, California named Joseph E. Whitters to its board of directors. Whitters also serves on the boards of PRGX Global Inc. and InfuSystem Holdings Inc., and has previously served on the boards of Analogic Corporation, Air Methods Corporation, Mentor Worldwide LLC, and Omnicell, Inc.

 

Allen Harrison

HCA Healthcare of Nashville, Tennessee has named Allen Harrison president of Methodist Healthcare System. Harrison is currently CEO of Methodist Hospital and Methodist Children’s Hospital in San Antonio, replacing the retiring Jaime Wesolowski, who had been president of Methodist Healthcare System since 2007.

 

The Gurnee, Illinois-based Ohio Medical LLC named CPA Peter Hills its CFO. Hills holds bachelor’s degrees in finance and accounting and an MBA in finance from Loyola University Chicago.

 

Nathan Falk

The Florida State University College of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, Florida has named Nathan Falk its first program director. Falk is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine and currently medical director and associate program director for the Florida Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in Orlando. Falk was chief resident and faculty at the University of Nebraska Family Medicine Residency Program, and has been clinical faculty for the FSU College of Medicine and the University of Central Florida College of Medicine since 2016.

 

 

Lizanne Fontaine

Lizanne Fontaine has been named chair of the board of trustees of the Brooklyn Hospital Center (TBHC), the first nurse in the history of the hospital to serve in this position. Fontaine is Counsel to VIP Community Services Inc. in the Bronx, and holds a law degree from New York University.

 

ValueHealth of Leawood, Kansas named Derek Bridges its president of benefit management and president of payor, employer, and consultant channels, replacing the outgoing Denise Wilkens.

 

The Boston, Massachusetts-based Caliber Imaging & Diagnostics Inc. named Karen Howe its CFO. Howe has spent 14 years in the high-tech, manufacturing and financial services sectors with companies like Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers, and was most recently the primary financial lead at Soleo Communications.

 

Cricket Health of San Francisco, California has named Carmen A. Peralta its CMO. Peralta is a professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco and has served on the Cricket Health medical advisory board.

 

Sarah Cho

The San Diego, California-based Health Center Partners of Southern California named Sarah Cho vice president of clinical transformation and health informatics for its subsidiary, Integrated Health Partners (IHP).

 

The Hartford, Connecticut-based LindaCare has named Robert Lerman its CMO and vice president of clinical operations. Lerman joins LindaCare from Dignity Health, where he was a corporate vice president.

 

Medicat LLC of Atlanta, Georgia named Daryl Rolley its CEO. Rolley will succeed David Berkal, who was promoted to board chair.
