The National Comprehensive Cancer Network of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania named Ronald Walters chair of its board of directors and Ruth O’Regan vice-chair. Walters is associate head for the Institute for Cancer Care Innovation and a breast cancer oncologist at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has been a member of the board for NCCN since 2012, and has served on the NCCN executive committee since 2016. O’Regan is the division head of hematology and oncology and associate director for clinical research at the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center. They succeed outgoing Chair Timothy J. Eberlein of Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine and vice-chair Jan C. Buckner of Mayo Clinic Cancer Center

Insmed Inc. of Bridgewater, New Jersey will lose CFO Paolo Tombesi June 2, 2019; thereafter, Tombesi will remain available to the company on a consulting basis. The company noted that Tombesi’s departure “is not the result of any dispute or disagreement with the company,” including any matters relating to its accounting practices or financial reporting. Meanwhile, John Goll was promoted to chief accounting officer.

Whitehead Institute of Cambridge, Massachusetts will see Director David C. Page complete his term in the summer of 2020; Page has been president of the organization since 2004, and has been with the institute for 35 years. He holds a medical degree from Harvard Medical School and has produced decades of research on the role of sex chromosomes in health and disease.
The Scottsdale, Arizona-based GlobalMed has hired Scott Sullivan as chief revenue officer and senior vice president of worldwide sales. Sullivan was most recently senior vice president of worldwide sales & channels for Atomiton Inc.
Apollo Endosurgery Inc. of Austin, Texas named John Barr an independent director, effective immediately. Barr is an operating partner with Altamont Capital Partners, was previously CEO and a member of the board of Surgical Specialties Corporation from 2014 through 2017 and, prior to that, held a number of CEO and executive leadership positions during his 35-year health care career. Barr has a master’s degree in finance, accounting and economics from Northwestern University.

Atrium Health of Charlotte, North Carolina has named Vicki Block senior vice president of its central division. Previously, Block was the COO at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He currently serves on the American Heart Association’s Central Ohio Board of Directors.
Seven Bridges of Boston, Massachusetts named William Moss its CEO and Brandi Davis-Dusenbery its chief scientific officer. Moss was previously COO and president of commercial operations at Seven Bridges. Davis-Dusenbery will oversee all aspects of scientific innovation, solution strategy and bioinformatics expertise.

Larry Lipshultz, Lynn Stothers and Amar Sawhney
The Urology Care Foundation of Linthicum, Maryland added physicians Larry Lipshultz, Lynn Stothers and Amar Sawhney to its board of directors. Strothers is the first woman to be appointed to the board. Lipshultz is a professor of urology and chief of the Scott Department of Urology’s Division of Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. Sawhney is chair of Ocular Therapeutix Inc., CEO and chairman of Instylla Inc. Stothers is a professor at the University of British Columbia in the department of urologic sciences, a senator at the University of British Columbia, and an associate member in the school of population and public health and the department of obstetrics and gynecology.
