Ultimate Medical Academy of Tampa, Florida has named Darlyne Bailey chair of its board of directors. Bailey is professor, Dean Emeritus, and special assistant to the president at Bryn Mawr College, and previously taught and served as Dean of Professional Schools at Case Western Reserve University, as a Dean at the University of Minnesota, and as Dean and VP of Columbia University’s Teachers College, where she also served as acting President.

 

Saurabh Tripathi

Highmark Health of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania named Saurabh Tripathi its EVP and CFO. Since 2015, Tripathi has been SVP and CFO for Fresenius Kidney Care, Fresenius Vascular Care, National Cardiovascular Partners, Fresenius Labs, and Fresenius Physician Practices at Fresenius Medical Care in Boston. Prior to Fresenius, he worked in finance leadership positions at GE Healthcare, GE Capital, GE Appliances, and Procter & Gamble. Tripathi has an MBA in finance from the University of Leeds in the U.K. Interim EVP and COO Karen Hanlon will now assume those roles full-time.

Millstone Medical of Fall River, Massachusetts named Richard Worthen its EVP of Sales and Business Development. The Atlanta, Georgia-based North Highland added Amy Andersen as VP.

Andersen is the founder of Andersen Health Advisors, and previously held executive and leadership positions with IBM, Philips Healthcare, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Kaiser Permanente. Andersen began her career in healthcare policy and regulatory affairs in Washington, D.C. She is an advisory board member of Lightning Bolt Solutions and a board member of Mount Holyoke College Alumnae Association.

 

TrueCore Behavioral Solutions of Tampa, Florida named Michael Pelletier its chief development officer. Pelletier most recently was President-COO of South Bay Community Services. He previously spent a decade at Community Education Centers, Inc., in West Caldwell, New Jersey, and holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

 

David Audley, director of business development for The CHP Group of Portland, Oregon, has been elected to the Board of Trustees for University of Western States (UWS). Audley has an extensive background in nonprofit work, including as president of the Portland State University Alumni Association.

 

The American Osteopathic Association (AOA) of Chicago, Illionis, has named Kevin Klauer its CEO. Klauer joins AOA from TeamHealth, where he was Chief Medical Officer for hospital-based services, Chief Risk Officer and executive director for the patient safety organization. Klauer also is a clinical assistant professor at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine.

 

Fresenius Medical Care of Waltham, Massachusetts named Frank Maddux as Global Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Robert Kossmann as CMO for North America, and expanded the role of Fresenius Kidney Care CMO Jeffrey Hymes to include SVP of Clinical and Scientific Affairs for Fresenius Medical Care North America. Maddux is a physician, IT entrepreneur and healthcare executive with 30 years of experience who has been working for Fresenius Medical Care since 2009. Before joining Fresenius in 2014, Kossmann practiced nephrology in Santa Fe, New Mexico for 20 years. Hymes has more than 30 years of experience in leading medical operations in both nephrology practices and multiple dialysis organizations.

 

Nevro Corp. of Redwood City, California named D. Keith Grossman its President-CEO and a member of its board of directors, succeeding Rami Elghandour. Elizabeth Weatherman and Kevin O’Boyle were also named as new directors, as director Ali Behbahani resigned. Grossman is currently chairman of Outset Medical, Inc. and a board member of ViewRay, Inc. Weatherman is a special limited partner of Warburg Pincus LLC, and a director at Wright Medical Group, Vapotherm, and Silk Road Medical. O’Boyle is a director at Wright Medical Group, GenMark Diagnostics, and Sientra, Inc.

 

Health System Advisors of Minneapolis, Minnesota named Kate Lovrien its managing director.

 

Kumanu of Ann Arbor, Michigan named Paul M. Meister to its board of directors. Meister was most recently president of MacAndrews & Forbes Incorporated, and has been chairman and CEO of inVentiv Health (now Syneos Health) and chairman of the board at Thermo Fisher Scientific. He also co-founded Liberty Lane Partners and Perspecta Trust.

 

The New York, New York-based Centinel Spine named Dirk M. Kuyper and Gregory Rainey to its board of directors. Kuyper is CEO and owner of Precision Machinists Company, Inc., has been president and CEO of Illuminoss Medical, Inc. and of Alphatec Spine, Inc. Since 2013, he has been a director at Conmed Corporation, and is currently principal of CCI Performance Group. Rainey spent more than a decade with Stryker Corporation as VP of orthopedic sales. He currently sits on the public board of CAS Medical (CASM) and on the Board of Directors for Catalyst Orthoscience.

 

AMN Healthcare of Dallas, Texas named Jennifer Knippenberg SVP of Recruiting Process Outsourcing Solutions. Knippenberg most recently was global leader of client strategy for PeopleScout, and has worked at Spherion, Manpower, and KellyOCG.

 

Peter B.  Luther

CeQur of Marlborough, Massachusetts named Peter B.  Luther to its board of directors. Luther was most recently president and CEO of Atrium Innovations, and spent 25 years at Johnson & Johnson as president of several divisions, including J&J Consumer Healthcare, J&J Beauty Care, J&J OTC and LifeScan. Luther also serves on the U.S. Soccer Foundation Board of Directors and the Parents Council of Muhlenberg College.

ESO of Austin, Texas has named Cortney Johnson its CFO. Most recently, Johnson was the CFO of All Web Leads, has been an auditor with Ernst & Young, and sits on the Small Business Advisory Committee (SBAC) of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB).

Ashish Khandpur, EVP of the Electronics & Energy Business Group, is now EVP of the Transportation & Electronics Business Group. Mojdeh Poul, EVP of the Safety & Graphics Business Group, is now EVP of the Health Care Business Group. SVP of Business Development and Marketing-Sales Paul Keel is now EVP of the Consumer Business Group. Dahan Pham

The Tacoma, Washington-based Swenson Healthcare added Sara Walden as its Chief Nursing Officer and Dahan Pham as its CFO. Walden has spent the past six years with Life Care Centers of America, most recently as the director of nursing at Life Care Center in Port Orchard, Washington. Pham has had senior financial leadership experience at Kiel Mortgage, SEFNCO Communications, and Cascadia International.
