ChanceLight Behavioral Health of Nashville, Tennessee will see EVP John McLaughlin transition to its Board of Directors. Most recently McLaughlin directed the company’s Research & Analytics unit.
The Boston, Massachusetts-based SilverCloud Health added five people to its clinical advisory board. They are David H. CNSI of Rockville, Maryland has added David Gulli as VP of Software Quality Assurance (SQA); Gulli was previously senior director and head of shared services at Quest Diagnostics. The company also named Linda Mras its VP of contracts. Mras was formerly director of contracts for Dun & Bradstreet.
Epic Sciences, Inc. of San Diego, California named Joel Smith its general counsel and EVP of corporate development. Smith has been a senior executive and general counsel for BioQ, Triad Therapeutics, and Sientra, Inc. Most recently, he was the managing counsel of Qualcomm Life, the medical device subsidiary of Qualcomm.

Anna Gosline
The Boston-based Massachusetts Coalition for Serious Illness Care named Anna Gosline its new executive director, succeeding the retired Richard Averbuch. Gosline will continue to serve as the senior director of strategic initiatives in the executive office of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, the administrative home and primary funder for the coalition. Previously, Gosline was the director of policy and research at the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation. She was a health care journalist in the United Kingdom and Canada and holds a master’s degree in health policy and management from Harvard.
The National Collaborative for Health Equity (NCHE) of Washington, D.C. will see its executive director and co-founder Brian Smedley resign October 31 to assume a new role as Chief of Psychology in the Public Interest at the American Psychological Association. Gail Christopher, former VP and senior advisor at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, will succeed him November 1. Christopher was Executive Director of The Innovation in American Government Awards Program at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and VP of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, where she led the Joint Center Health Policy Institute.

The Boston, Massachusetts-based PatientPing added John D. Halamka as a strategic advisor. Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) announces the establishment of the Morgan Family Endowed Chair in Pediatric Surgery. Peter Mattei, MD, attending pediatric surgeon in the Division of General, Thoracic and Fetal Surgery at CHOP, has been named the inaugural chair holder.

Haemonetics Corporation of Braintree, Massachusetts named Stewart W. Strong president of its global hospital. He joins Haemonetics from Teleflex Incorporated, where he was president and GM of the Interventional Business Unit. He joined Teleflex through the acquisition of Vidacare Corporation where he has been VP of sales.
