RSTI and Althea Offer Contrast Injector Training Course

RSTI has launched a new contrast injector training course available on-site at your location or at its training facility in Solon, Ohio with acclaimed Althea faculty. This unique course will equip biomedical and imaging technician professionals with the skills and knowledge they need to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot contrast injector system failures and restore them to operation.

“RSTI is committed to providing their students with the best biomedical and diagnostic imaging service training available. We’re excited to bring Althea’s contrast injector training to our facility and provide students with the opportunity to learn from a leader in the industry,” says Todd Boyland, CEO, RSTI.

The course is taught by Michael Gossman, injector modality manager, Althea Group, with curriculum centered around five main pillars:

  • Knowledge of operation
  • Operational functions
  • On-the-spot repairs
  • Parts replacement
  • Preventative maintenance

This course is tailored to fit the students’ individual needs. Students will train on a minimum of two contrast injector models per session with the option to train on up to four, including:

At the conclusion of this course participants will be able to approach any contrast injector with confidence and knowledge on how all contrast injectors operate and will be able to demonstrate knowledge of basic contrast injector theory, perform basic system repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and demonstrate how to use an injector service tool kit.
