Samsung Launches Versatile Ultrasound Systems

Samsung introduced the HS50 and HS60 ultrasound systems in May at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists annual meeting in San Diego.

“With the introduction of the HS50 and HS60, Samsung is able to bring the exceptional image quality and penetration that our high-end customers have come to expect and rely on to a wider audience,” said Phil Sullivan, president and CEO for Samsung NeuroLogica. “With its smaller footprint and affordability, it will allow more clinicians to provide their patients the very best of care.”

The HS50 and HS60 feature hybrid beamformer technology that works in conjunction with Samsung’s advanced Digital Signal Processing to provide clear, detailed images that help clinicians confidently diagnose and care for their patients. Advanced 3D/4D technologies provide additional diagnostic views to help support clinical decision making and treatment planning, and workflow enhancing and time-saving tools allow the clinician to focus more on their patients instead of the system. The well-rounded capabilities of the HS50 and HS60 make them a great fit for many different practice types, including obstetrics and gynecology, general imaging and MSK.
