The InterMed Group Acquires Sigma Imaging Technologies


The InterMed Group, a Granite Bridge Partners company, has announced the acquisition of Sigma Imaging Technologies, a New Jersey-based provider of imaging system services.

“Established as an expert in MRI/CT/PET imaging technology, Sigma’s core services include preventive and corrective maintenance, MRI magnet services and part repair. Sigma is also a highly reputable provider of MRI/CT/PET systems across North America, including mobile units, and offers equipment evaluation, refurbishment, installation, removal, relocation and storage,” according to a press release.

The InterMed Group Chief Executive Officer Rick Staab, CHTM, said, “Sigma’s core competencies align strategically with InterMed’s focus on delivering best in class medical equipment servicing and program management. This partnership is not only a strategic investment, but a cultural one as well as we expand our geographic footprint to serve clients faster and more efficiently across the East Coast. We are excited to also be able to enhance our existing customers within the MRI/CT/PET verticals with the high quality Sigma brings in these areas.”
