Varian to Demonstrate Advanced Cancer Care Solutions at ESTRO 38

Varian announced it will be showcasing its new single-room proton therapy system, ProBeam® 360°, and the Bravos™ afterloader system for High Dose Rate (HDR) brachytherapy treatments, April 26-30 in Milan, Italy at the ESTRO 38 (European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology) meeting, in booth 2300. ProBeam 360° offers uncompromised clinical capabilities while reducing vault construction costs by approximately 25 percent. Bravos is an integrated system designed to improve the patient and clinic experience by simplifying brachytherapy treatment and providing greater workflow efficiency.

Additional Varian solutions being demonstrated at ESTRO 38 include:

  • Noona® symptom management: an intuitive patient-reported outcomes (PRO) solution, Noona automates patient monitoring, symptom management and patient triage.
  • IDENTIFY SGRT technology: incorporates patient safety, quality, efficiency and surface-guided features in an automated workflow solution for surface-guided radiation therapy (SGRT) and surgery (SGRS).
  • Adaptive Radiotherapy Suite: currently a Works in Progress, Varian will share details of its development work on an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven multimodality adaptive radiotherapy treatment suite that is being designed to deliver high quality treatments, and that would incorporate all types of imaging (MR, PET, CT) without compromise.

Varian is hosting an international oncology summit for customers to kick-start its ESTRO activities on April 26 at the Superstudio Più, Milan, Italy.
