Visage Imaging Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Pro Medicus Ltd., has been granted an Authority to Operate (ATO) for the Veterans Affairs Enterprise Cloud (VAEC), by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, for Visage 7 | CloudPACS, the cloud-based implementation of the Visage 7 Enterprise Imaging Platform (Visage 7).
By securing this Agency ATO, Visage has successfully demonstrated, documented, tested and validated rigorous Federal security controls. Achieving VAEC ATO is a significant, multi-year milestone in Visage Imaging’s journey working with our customer and sponsor, VISN 23 (VA Midwest Health Care Network) and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). VISN 23 serves more than 440,000 enrolled Veterans residing in the states of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and portions of Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
“We are honored to work with VISN 23 and the VA on their journey to the cloud. Moving Visage 7 to the VAEC will significantly benefit U.S. Veterans with even better performance, reliability, security and scale of their PACS and Enterprise Imaging,” said Dr. Sam Hupert, CEO of Visage Imaging.
Visage exhibited last week at the 2025 Defense Health Information Technology Symposium (DHITS) in Nashville, Tennessee. Visage 7 was demonstrated to federal health information technology physicians and professionals from the VHA and Defense Health Agency (DHA).
