Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential (GCAPP) named Ronald McNeill its president and CEO. McNeill, who joins the organization from Boys & Girls Clubs of America, succeeds Kim Nolte. Interim president Cheryl King returns to the GCAPP board of directors.

 

Discovery Behavioral Health of Los Angeles, California has named James Patrick Bailey its COO and W. Bradley Cooper its CFO. Bailey most recently was CEO of Recovery Ways and has worked with CRC, Haven, Cottonwood Treatment Center, and Benchmark Behavioral Health Systems. Cooper was most recently CFO with FFF Enterprises Inc., has been the CFO of MNX Global Logistics, and worked with Covenant Care, Life Fleet, and Disease Detection International.

 

Darrell S. Freeman Sr.

The Boca Raton, Florida-based Cross Country Healthcare Inc. named Darrell S. Freeman Sr., executive managing director of Zycron, to its board of directors.

Freeman also co-founded the Tennessee-based Reliant Bank and Pinnacle Construction Partners, has chaired the board of directors of S3 Asset Management, and served on the board of directors of American Addition Centers.

 

KEPRO named Susan T. Weaver its president.

Weaver was most recently served CEO for C3HealthcareRx, has been the CMO for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, and previously held various executive positions at WakeMed Health & Hospitals. She is a founding member and former executive director of Alliance Medical Ministry.

 

Halo Labs has named Robert Wicke its CEO, succeeding outgoing CEO Robert Hart, who is transitioning to chief technology officer.

Whitney Lane

The Vero Beach, Florida-based Watercrest Senior Living Group named Whitney Lane its vice president of clinical operations. Most recently, she was divisional director of health and wellness for Senior Lifestyle Corporation. Lane holds a bachelor’s degree in speech pathology and nursing, a master’s degree in social work, and is pursuing her master’s in nursing.

 

Hologic Inc. has promoted Chief Accounting Officer Karleen Oberton to CFO. Oberton joined Hologic from Immunogen in 2006 as corporate controller; previously, she had been a senior audit manager in the Ernst & Young life science practice, and in Arthur Andersen’s high technology practice. An active CPA, Oberton holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Merrimack College, where she is a member of the leadership council.

 

Amplicare named Matt Johnson its CEO, replacing co-founder Flaviu Simihaian, who will chair its board of directors. The board will also add director Jess Eberdt, managing director of from Immunogen. Johnson has served as the Amplicare COO and a member of its board of directors since starting the Company in 2012. Simihaian remains a major shareholder of the company.

 

Daphne E. Jones

AMN Healthcare Services Inc. of San Diego, California named Daphne E. Jones an independent director, increasing the board from eight to nine members. Jones has more than 30 years of experience in general management and executive level roles at IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Hospira (now Pfizer), and GE Healthcare. Since retiring from GE Healthcare in 2017, Jones has been serving an independent director on public and not-for-profit boards, including those of Masonite International and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.

 

Highmark Health of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania named EVP/CFO Karen Hanlon as its COO. Hanlon will continue to serve as CFO and treasurer during a national search for her replacement. She began working in public accounting at KPMG Peat Marwick and serves on the board of Penn State Health. Hanlon has also been a member of the board of directors of Leadership Pittsburgh and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Pennsylvania.

 

Christine Jones

The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Santa Monica, California named Christine Jones its COO. Jones is the former executive vice president, general counsel, corporate secretary for Go Daddy, has been CEO of Great Hearts Academies, worked in public and private law, and practiced as a CPA in retail and commercial banking.

 

BD named Simon Campion its executive vice president and president of the BD interventional segment. Campion has been leading the integration of the BD and Bard surgical platforms, having joined Bard in 2008 from Cook Medical. He holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering from the University of Limerick, Ireland and an MBA from the Open University in the United Kingdom.

 

The Irvine, California-based Masimo named H. Michael Cohen, former vice-chair of healthcare investment banking at Deutsche Bank Securities, to its board of directors. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Cohen worked at SG Cowen, Union Bank of Switzerland, and Booz Allen Hamilton, having begun his career in healthcare at Hambrecht & Quist. Cohen holds an MBA from Columbia University.
