She will identify behaviors and roadblocks that contribute to errors or bad outcomes that may have been preventable. She will also show how to promote a process where mistakes or errors lead to uncovering why the errors occurred, not automatically lead to punishment.

Brenda DeBastiani, CRA, FAHRA, is the director of imaging at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, West Virginia. As a West Virginia native, she enjoys giving back to her community. She is a lifelong learner who recently completed her Master of Business Administration and is a longtime member of the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA). She serves as a member of the AHRA board of directors, is a noted speaker/presenter, a textbook editor and holds a Lean Sigma Six green belt.
