Bayer named Patrick Lockwood-Taylor its regional president of consumer health, North America. Most recently, he was CEO of the Oneida Group. Lockwood-Taylor succeeds Natalie Bartner, and will become a member of the Bayer consumer health executive committee.

 

AOTI Inc. added Rene Cortes as its new head of sales marketing and training for the U.S. market. Cortes has 25 years of experience in medical device sales, marketing and training in a broad range of companies.

 

FUJIFILM SonoSite Inc. has named Takaaki Ueda its CEO and chair of FUJIFILM SonoSite Inc. Ueda is also president and CEO of FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A. Inc. and FUJIFILM New Development U.S.A. Inc. Rich Fabian has been promoted to president COO of FUJIFILM SonoSite Inc. subsequent to the reassignment of Masayuki Higuchi to Tokyo as deputy general manager of global finance and accounting at FUJIFILM Corporation. Ueda was previously general manager of the Fujifilm global endoscopy systems division; Fabian joined the company in January 2017 from Philips Healthcare.

TRIMEDX has named Ramy Boghdadi executive vice president of strategic client value and relationships. Boghdadi has 20 years of experience in leadership roles at Siemens Healthcare IT, GE Healthcare, IMS Health, Berlex Laboratories and Accenture.

 

McKesson Corporation promoted Brian S. Tyler, chair of the McKesson Europe management board, to president and COO of McKesson. Tyler has been president of McKesson North American Pharmaceutical Distribution and Services, McKesson U.S. Pharmaceutical, McKesson Medical-Surgical and McKesson Specialty Health, as well as executive vice president of corporate strategy and business development. He holds doctorate and master degrees from the University of Chicago. Additionally, Nick Loporcaro, president of McKesson U.S. pharmaceutical and specialty solutions, has departed the company.

 

Renee Broadbent

Holon Solutions of Alpharetta, Georgia has named Renee Broadbent its senior vice president of population health. Broadbent has been CIO and CISO in hospital health systems and managed care organizations, most recently, serving as assistant vice president of population health IT and strategy at UMass Memorial Health Care in Worcester, Massachusetts.

 

Valley Perinatal Services (VPS) has named Pamela Young its CEO and named Ravindu Gunatilake its medical director. Young has spent 40 years in health care administration, leadership and practice management. Gunatilake, who became a partner at VPS in 2017, replaces John Elliott, who is CMO of Mitro Health Ventures.

 

Linda Mignone

Ultimate Medical Academy has named Linda Mignone its chief marketing officer. Mignone has 25 years of experience in strategic, brand and direct marketing roles at companies like Kaplan Inc. and DHL.

 

Huntington Hospital of Pasadena, California added M. Christian Mitchell to its board of directors, effective January 1, 2019. Mitchell is vice-chairman of the board of Marshall & Stevens in Los Angeles, California, and is a director at Parsons Corporation, Western Asset Mortgage Capital Corporation, Pacific Premier Bancorp, Reis Inc., and Stearns Holdings LLC. A retired Deloitte senior partner, he was a founding member of the board of directors of Deloitte Consulting USA. Mitchell is chairman emeritus of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), Southern California and a current member of the national board of NACD.

 

Johnson & Johnson has promoted its CFO of the North America Hospital medical devices business, Chris DelOrefice, to vice president of investor relations. DelOrefice has held various leadership positions across all three segments of Johnson & Johnson. He holds a Villanova MBA.

 

Rockwell Medical Inc. of Wixom, Michigan has named Stuart Paul its CEO and a member of its board of directors, effective September 4.

 

MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center of Laguna Hills, California has named Kelli Ruiz vice president of business development. Ruiz was most recently vice president of strategy and business development at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach. She was previously vice president of operations at Surgical Care Affiliates, and also served in leadership positions with DaVita.

 

Streamline Health Solutions Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia has added Wyche T. Green, III to its board of directors. Green is the former CEO, executive chairman, and a co-founder of Greenway Medical Health, and is currently chairman and CEO of Greenway Unlimited. Additionally, board members Michael K. Kaplan and Michael G. Valentine will not stand for re-election to the Streamline Health board.

 

Haemonetics Corporation has named Josep Lluis Llorens senior vice president of global manufacturing and supply chain, effective August 20. Llorens joins Haemonetics from Philips, where he most recently was senior vice president of industrial strategy and advanced manufacturing engineering leader for Philips Healthcare diagnostic imaging. Llorens holds a master’s degree in telecommunications engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona. He also holds an executive certificate in technology, operations and value chain management from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

 

Brian Mooney

ProSciento Inc. of San Diego, California named Brian Mooney COO. Mooney was most recently executive vice president of strategic service provision at Chiltern. Outgoing COO Linda Morrow will transition to chief medical officer.
