Registration Opens for RSNA 2020

Registration is now open for the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 106th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting, which for the first time ever will be held as an all-virtual event, Nov. 29 – Dec. 5, 2020.

RSNA 2020: Human Insight/Visionary Medicine will allow thousands of attendees to experience RSNA 2020 in a new and exciting way from the comfort of their homes or offices.

“Connecting medical imaging professionals from around the world is more important than ever during this challenging time in health care,” said RSNA President James P. Borgstede, M.D. “Join the brightest minds in medical imaging during radiology’s premier annual forum and experience the ease of an all-virtual RSNA 2020. You’ll enjoy convenient access to an abundance of radiologic research, education and technology through our robust virtual event.”

RSNA 2020 stands to deliver a meaningful meeting experience and an outstanding program for radiology professionals around the world. While RSNA already hosts its highly successful Virtual Meeting annually, this year’s meeting week will bring many of the highlights of the physical event to the virtual stage.

Popular features like Case of the Day, the “Fast 5”—brisk and engaging presentations on how medical insight and research are driving the future of radiology—and the Image Interpretation Session—reformatted into easily digestible mini-sessions throughout the week—promise to offer dynamic experiences for attendees. Plenary sessions will feature inspiring and informative presentations from luminaries in their fields.

Interactive science and education offerings and an extensive on-demand catalog will offer more CME opportunities than ever before. The Digital Presentation System will house more than one thousand electronic science and education presentations. Some sessions at RSNA 2020 will offer Q&A with presenters, and chat features will allow attendees to network, exchange knowledge and interact with exhibitors.

The technical exhibition will have an expansive lineup of the leading vendors in medical imaging with an exclusive channel of exhibitor and corporate programming throughout the week and a dedicated industry hour each day across all programming channels. Through engaging features like Lunch & Learns, product demonstrations, live chat and meeting scheduling, attendees will have ample opportunities to network with exhibitors one-on-one and discover the latest innovations in equipment and software.

RSNA 2020’s virtual platform allows those who have been impacted by institutional, corporate or national travel restrictions the opportunity to participate fully in the meeting experience. In addition, the live component of the event will run an extra weekend day this year to accommodate the schedules of attendees hoping to get the most out of the meeting while attending to their daily responsibilities at work and home.

“RSNA 2020 will open the door to new attendees from every corner of the world who have been unable to travel to the meeting in the past,” Dr. Borgstede said.

Registration for premium access to RSNA 2020 is completely free for RSNA members. Members who register receive a free, seven-day, all-access virtual conference pass with CME opportunities and free access to on-demand Virtual Meeting programming through April 30, 2021. They will also have full access to exhibitors, including live demonstrations and networking opportunities.

Non-members can take advantage of early-bird pricing through October 1 and can choose premium or standard access. Standard access does not include CME opportunities or on-demand access to the Virtual Meeting after December 5, 2020.
